A San Francisco Based Style Blog
Last night myself, my husband, best friend and her fiancé went to a concert and got to see Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, 69 Boyz, and E-40 (plus others). For most people my age the artists are “old” or a “throw-back” but each artist that performed had at least 1 big hip-hop|rap hit in the early 90s. E-40, who I wanted to see the most, has had songs of his own and has featured on songs for years, plus he has a few new songs that get radio play today. The concert was great and it was nice to get out of the work, work, work (not intentionally quoting a song here) mode I have been in for the past couple weeks.
I didn’t really want to wear a dress or anything too fancy so I went with this ripped jeans, monochrome look with a pop of turquoise in the necklace and bag. It was the perfect mix of casual with the ripped jeans and faux leather jacket, but dressed up a bit with the blouse and strappy black heals.
